Eckert was sharp. Fehmel did a fine job in his first inning. Several fine defensive plays. Bats are dead and two brutal baserunning errors. Ouch.

I've been waiting for him to go yard. For 2+ seasons. Glad he did it when it was needed. Meanwhile, Ice follows it up with a triple off the wall and Nobach doubles off the warning track. May have been back to back to back in our own yard.

That UK lefty had a great balk move. Stepped straight ahead and threw to first.

Beavs are consistently learning that being behind after 5 or 6 innings CAN BE overcome. There's no substitute for confidence. Love this teams' early season character.
