It starts out pretty good, but.....
Generally mild temperatures will continue Tuesday with
highs in ranging from the upper 70s, where cloud cover lingers in
northeast Nebraska, to the mid 80s along the Nebraska/Kansas border.
the southerly low level flow will help boost temperatures into the
upper 80s and low 90s across the area Wednesday. A weak shortwave
traveling along the ridge will bring the potential for some showers
and thunderstorms to skim the forecast area late Wednesday night
into Thursday morning.
The upper level ridge will become more
centered over the forecast area Thursday, allowing temperatures to
soar into the low 100s along the southern Nebraska border. At the
moment it appears that dewpoints will be in the 60 to 75 degree
range, keeping heat indicies limited to around 100-107 in eastern
Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
Let's go Beavs! Win today, end it tomorrow, fly home to 70's and celebrations on Thursday!
