Head Coach Mike White leaving for Texas.
Don't ever feel sorry for them but in this case a little. He asked them for a chance and they gave it to him and he built a pac 12 dynasty and now gonna leave.
I'm sure they'll replace him with someone elite but the guy had the #1 recruiting class two years ago.
I know it's a business but still tough on fans and players.
Of course I haven't looked at the money aspect so no comment there.
I'd be more than welcoming to any players who wanted to jump ship and come here 😁

If the greed from the fans for a 'ship is what drove the coach away, then may their softball program fall into the depths of purgatory. You never get down on a coach who gets you into the upper echelon of the post-season, but has yet to win it all. Cristobal, Altman, and Graves must be feeling uneasy with this.

They most likely don't pay attention to message board rumors about why a coach left. The person that should be feeling uneasy about it is Uncle Phil. It seems his wallet doesn't have the magnetic attraction it used to. First Slick Willie Taggart, now a money grubbing softball coach. |
