On the OSU WBB site Aleah Goodman mentions games in Hawaii this season. Anyone know the particulars on this?
I haven't read anything about preseason games - but I'm looking.... Thanks.....

They have gone at least the last couple years. I think they call it the Maui classic or something like that. They invite the other teams to join them with the stipulation that each team will spend a day at an elementary school. It is a really positive thing for kids and athletes.
I'm not sure when it is but if you look at last year's schedule it will probably give you a general idea of when they go.

Thanks for the info..... However, work demands and airline bookings both require specific dates...... It's only June so dates may not even be finalized.....But dates are what I need for now.... Thanks.....

Kendall Knotz, the assistant to Scott Rueck, recently posted that the Beavs will be playing games in Maui on Friday, December 14 and on Saturday, December 15.
For more specific details about that trip, I would suggest sending an e-mail to Kendall at: kendall.knotz@oregonstate.edu
I think that you will find that Kendall is very responsive and can provide the info that will allow you to book ASAP.
I will be in Maui for the two games this year after considering doing so (and not going) both in 2016 and 2017.

Its not as good as hoops (in terms of men vs women's style/coaching), but Caribbean on football bye weekend is better option for us...

Out of curiosity where did KK post this info about the Dec. 14 & 15 games? Not much sense posting WBB info in a place where the public can't find it.... Yes. I will contact Mr. Knotz and see what I can learn....

You are welcome. I saw Kendall's posting on the OSU Hoop Scoop Facebook page a few weeks back. I looked for that posting today and could not quickly find it. Kendall is a female. osubeavers.com/coaches.aspx?rc=761

I found the Oregon State Women's Basketball Hoop Scoop Facebook post by Kendall Knotz that was dated May 24, 2018. The other info that she confirmed that was the two games for the Beavers (on December 14 and on December 15) in Maui will be played in the Lahaina Civic Center. That is the same site of the Maui Invitational Basketball Tournament that takes place in November each year for some of the top men's basketball teams in the country. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lahaina_Civic_Center
