Looks really wet tomorrow and Monday. Delay to Tuesday? Updated forecast, wet until 8PM Monday, then hot Tues and Wed

Wet is good. We want rain, and make the pigs play in it.

Wet is good. We want rain, and make the pigs play in it. wouldnt mind a total rainout monday. Even the rest period and make ESPN lose a little revenue.

I wouldn't bet on any delays, but I like the sound of rain and thunderstorms over the weekend. That means likely cooler weather in the aftermath.
So far, the only thing that can stop the Beavs is the heat...
GO BEAVS!

Looking at the details, looks like Monday rough until late afternoon...so should get it in on Monday! Maybe a little wet which would be good. Want them to get it in! My flight returns on Thursday!

Still looks wet at gametime as long as no T-storms and only light rain it's PLAY BALL! Advantage to us if it' "Corvallis Like"
You mean mid-forties and coming down steady? ;-)

I know pushing the game back will benefit our pitchers, but the downside is if there’s a game 3, weather forecast for Thursday is 98 degrees...
I hope we play in a light rain today. Possible lightning appears to be the main factor, correct? Tough position as a manager in regard to how a delay could affect your starting pitchers.
For those of you in Omaha, how is the weather? What are you hearing?

Here in Carter Lake area, 1 mile from the field... drizzling all morning, vey dark, 75, lightening in the area.
Rain @49% dropping to 30% by game time, no lightening expected after 2-3pm thru 12am.
But... there was supposed to be a huge storm yesterday afternoon and evening. People attending Imagine Dragons concert were all worried... NOTHING. Great evening downtown. So?

You mean these Imagine Dragons? Must be a sign. Cayden's going to light it up tonight.

the longer it rains today, the less likely lightning is tonight, hope for clouds to keep the afternoon heating down.

Just as long as they don't start it, and then have another long delay. Not a good situation for our pitching...

Looking at radar, there is a line of thunderstorms to the SW moving toward Omaha and will arrive after the game will start. Mostly dry after these past. It seems they should just delay the start of the game 60 to 90 minutes to wait for this to pass. I agree best not to start the game, only to be delayed a few innings later.
