I don't think they are anything special either and neither should the team. About the time you think you are special is when you get your arrogant ass handed to you. I will think they are incredibly special about dog pile time.

Reflects the mindset of the SEC I suppose....egged on, of course, by ESPN which does everything it can to inflate the SEC for the sake of their mutual TV contract.

The dangerous thing about making comments like that is of course that it really doesn’t matter what the actual or literal intention of it is, only how it’s percieved by the person or team it’s being said about.

Same pitcher that took a shot to the elbow during PB or something like that? If so, wondering if he is coming into the game less than 100%.

I couldn't tell but it looked like he took it off the upper arm. Now he may feel okay starting out but if there's a bruise like there ought to be after that hit he's going to really start feeling it by about the 50th pitch. So I imagine that there it's going to be a chance to get him out of the game early if we can stretch our at-bats and we've been doing very good at making pitchers throw a lot of pitches.

He was really feeling it by about the 50th pitch because that's when we had two outs in the third inning
