I don't think he will be at usc in the end.
There are way to many variables that could go wrong before he signs.
Usc does this every year. They get 4 or 5 3 star guys with 4 star potential to commit early and then if they don't blow it up senior year or usc lands a better prospect at the same position they magically get the player to reopening their recruitment.
Especially with a guy in trouble with grades just last year.
I'm rooting for the kid and hope his dream comes true but I just don't see it panning out and honestly I don't see it as a good fit in general

Just a gem of a comment/ramble from "wheatonspick" on the wasteland that is the O-live comments section.. Hilarious. Just can't fathom that anyone would pick USC over uo. You know.. because everyone is getting shot outside the coliseum and the ducks have hotter cheerleaders.
FWIW, I agree with above that we could still be in play as academics are a concern. At the same time though, I've heard more than once now that he really wanted to leave the state.. So it goes.

Wow really advantage Oregon has over U$C first and foremost 5-10 times the team that U$C has. Coaching times 20 Helton as U$C head coach is 1-5 maybe 2-4 as a head coach. Helfrich well his record is a lot better then that. Stadium I have been to that dump that U$C calls a stadium and Autzen is 50 times nicer. Locker room/s Oregon times a million over U$C. Oregon has hotter cheerleaders then U$C though U$C aren't bad looking it's just that Oregon cheerleaders on the hottest on the planet. Facilites well Oregon wins that by at least a mile. Location now this is probably by far the biggest advantage Oregon has over U$C, I mean I went to a game at U$C one time I was worried I was going to get shot walking to the stadium and my car was going to get jacked luckily neither of those things happened phew I mean U$C is in well have you ever seen the movie Boyz in the hood that's the area where U$C is located. If I ever have children and I don't have any that I know of ? but I would never let me soon or daughter go to U$C. U$C will be lucky to win 7 games this year and Oregon will be in playoffs and i'm thinking/hoping bring home the National Championship this year. U$C is like Norte Lame,Nebraska,Miami has been used to be really good but are terrible now. Oregon really needs to offer Tate Martell to try to get some positive recruiting momentum going on open a pipeline to the number 1 team in the Country the last 2 years Offer Martell T-Lyndsay will join him and honestly Martelll would bring a number of other good/great players with him. Do I think Martell will ever start at QB no I think Oregon has 3 really good QB's on it's roster after this season with Wilson,Jonsen and Herbert but how knows he might beat out those 3 but either way Oregon needs a 4th QB after this year and Martell would be that plus bring lot's of other talent to Eugene with him. Maybe after Oregon goes to the ghetto and just pounds like U$C like a drum like they have been doing for years Green will change his mind.If not he will never get to experience a Pac 12 championship or ever play in a BCS bowl game in his 4 years at U$C

or that Green won't actually be walking to the stadium himself and therefore probably won't get shot like all those people who get shot walking to the stadium. You know.. like that movie.
