If Casey says he is a good guy, then I have to believe he is a good person and a good coach.

One nugget of wisdom Hickamheel is a nut job. Other than the 3 first round draft picks....we suck.

Ha! That's a great quote...
"Pretty dumb to move Fedex to first, Flack to third, and Fronk to OF too."
For weeks after that game, I would describe to anybody that would listen, all the things that set up that beautiful error in the 8th. How it actually started with the pressure that our bunting put on the defense, forcing throwing errors and ultimately causing them to move folks around so they were left with a right-handed first baseman. That was never a throwing error that won us the game, it was a catching error...
GO BEAVS!

When it was obvious that the throw was not perfect, he made no real attempt to come off the bag and save the run. (He was a catcher playing first, after all.) Still, no, it was a throwing error with an assist by Fedex. Oregon State grinds. It takes defensive weaknesses and exploits them. Watching that routine grounder turn into a de facto RBI was a thing of beauty.

Classy bunch over there. They get beat because of their coach, certainly not because some mid level team kicked their ass again.

Eh.. if we lost last night, I'd probably be saying we lost to an inferior team and would have questioned Casey's decision to start Luke on 3 days rest.

Small mistakes become deadly and the pressure builds. Teams have to be spot on to beat us when we play Beaver baseball. It’s a beautiful thing!

Let's not act like the fans down the road and instead show some respect and class towards teams we beat.
Leave the douchebaggerrey to the bangd wagon duckies.

I'd like to add that earlier in the game (and correspondingly the thread), the posters were calling for a pitching change. Then, when it didn't work out the same posters were all over the coach for making the change.

Heck, I didn't even sleep at a Holliday Inn and know more about the Beaver pitching staff than NY and PC combined. Plus Bailey needed to move Anderson back on that double off the wall and up when the Carolina hitters hit the ball shallow. And dont even even get me started on the officiating, it was a foul ball, Luke's pitch was a strike and their pitcher was gifted on the outside of the plate frequently
