What is his status? Other then being listed on some pre-season watch lists for relievers I haven't heard anything and I see he hasn't played yet. What gives with the "Hickey"?!?!

Said he was recovering from back strain. After Thompson last season they will probably err on the side of caution.

Jmho, but a long ways out. Martinek was doing hand exercises, but I don't think he picked up a ball. Cary as well as the rookie outfielder are present, but not doing much.
