Looked fine jumping and running around the field after Malone’s bomb. I’m guessing it was a cramp.

ok. not a hammy, i'm hoping. yeah, I'm not sure about that. Late in the game the Ump cam showed the dugout. He went up to Jack Anderson and they hugged and chatted. JA reaches back and grabs his own left hamstring up high. That did not look like a cramp

This Week in Baseball with Mel Allen. Sigh. The memories of watching this show as a kid on Saturdays? Good times.

He missed most of the 2016 summer ball season with a hammy. Doesn't look good.

That's what I originally thought. If it's his hamstring, he's out. If true, big loss but, next man up. Go Beavs!

He also hurt his quad last season. Sat a few games and wasn't fully healthy for quite a stretch.

This Week in Baseball with Mel Allen. Sigh. The memories of watching this show as a kid on Saturdays? Good times. Makes me all tingly listening to the theme song. The only way to see what was happening around MLB. Of course then you had to listen to Garagiola & Tony call the Yankees and whoever was on the Yankees schedule That got old about halfway through the season check out this spikes up slide into 2B

Did anyone else play strat-o-matic baseball when you were a kid? I had the 1977 version and probably played 2000 games (and kept stats . . . I'm a geek). Anyway I could probably name 22 guys on most rosters from that year. Butch Hobson, Graig Nettles, Rich Dauer, Garvey, Lopes, Russell, Cey, Sizemore, Bake McBride, Omar Moreno, Cesar Geronimo, Dan Driessen, Eddie Murray (rookie year) and on and on. Probably a better use of my time than sniffing glue.
