In 2005, Oregon State won the Pac-10 and was a national seed. The Beavers hosted the Corvallis Regional and Super Regional and won both, advancing to the College World Series. Oregon State went to the College World Series. However, the Beavers lost two straight and were bounced by the #4 overall seed.
