And reaction + electronic reaction time is is approximately 0.4 +/- 0.1 and clock is always a little above the time showing even in tenths... all is good. Worst that can happen is the league admonishing time keeper/officials... against NCAA rules to change a W.

Before the inbound play happened after the Andrews missed free throw/out of bounds to OSU, my father was insisting that there should have another second or more left on the clock. Not sure how accurate ol' dad was on that one, though.

Maybe he can protest the apparent travel by Stevie on the play if that doesn't work (not a pure jumpstop on the play, but I see similar stuff all game, every game). If overturned, Tinkle should protest Tres' shot from the corner only counting for 2 (correct call, but fun to challenge). If they give us 3 for that we wouldn't have had to foul Andrews on their last possession. Or, how about disputing that Tres was in shooting motion when their guy fouled him intentionally late when they had a 3 point lead? Then...maybe Romar could protest that Andrews' second foul shot actually went in...
Come on, Lorenzo, a disappointing shocker, but your team only led for about 2 minutes all night. I've generally liked Romar. He does a great job of recruiting and built a tough program in Montlake. Something weird is going on when your leading scorer (Williams-Goss, supposedly a pretty decent kid) transfers out as a senior and several others bail, but I won't speculate. I will say that this seems like sour grapes, and it kind of stinks. If that clock started slow, it was human limitation, and the play was a blur. No good clock-keeper has a quick trigger finger in that situation!

He can protest all he wants. He's just doing it to satisfy the fan base. Romar knows as well as anyone the conference isn't going to bail him out. If that were the case then Tinkle should go through every game we lost by less than 10 points and protest all the poor calls in the game that cost us.

Why look at just the last play then??? You could look at 25 plays during the rest of the game and find a technical fault of some sort... maybe on EVERY play! In fact, lets play the games, then have an independant firm review ALL the calls and finally a week later release an "Actual" winner...  Honestly, worse than the timer was the 12 extra steps Stevie took after he picked up his dribble  But who cares, he stroked the shot, we won, so stop crying, U-Dumb, I mean U-Dub. Romar, and Sean Miller with some pretty serious crying into their beer's this morning... |

Update 3:38 p.m.: The Pac-12 has released the following statement regarding Washington's protest of its loss to Oregon State: "While an institution may ask the Conference Office to review plays, there is no protest policy. Washington has inquired with the Conference Office regarding play in the final moments of its game with Oregon State. In reviewing the final sequence of play in the Oregon State-Washington game, it was determined that the clock timing was handled appropriately by the game officials and the clock operator. While it was questioned whether the Oregon State player should have been called for traveling prior to the final shot, traveling is a judgment call. Somebody call the whambulance for Romar. I wonder if he wants the refs to go back and review the handful of no calls on the travelling that his team did.
For those of us that go to the game or even watch on TV, we know the refs struggle to make a single traveling call anytime.
You didn't make enough plays to win the game. End of story.

Oh, please, Lorenzo - I've lost count of the number of uncalled travelling violations I've seen in men's games at Gill this year. They don't call it in the Pac-12 all season, and you want them to call it then?
You want to go into bad calls in Oregon State vs. Washington games, I'm still waiting for the conference to apologize for Yvenson Bernard's "fumble" in 2007.
