Was it just me or did this guy act like a punk the whole game? I was waiting for Drew to take him out with an elbow.

To me there seemed like there were a few Husky players talking and and such.. I'm not a fan of that personally.. I'm glad Drew didn't do anything.. just let your play do the talking..

I was just a few feet away - saw Drew give Chriss a nice little elbow to the back after someone was fouled on the baseline early 2nd half. Just reminding Chriss that he was there. Very solid reminder.

I was amazed at how often Husky players had similar reactions to many of their fouls without ever receiving a technical.

The bar on technicals was raised a few weeks back when Jamal showed how to really get one. Cusing is so acceptable now.

Uber-athletic bunch of players, but I also thought the punk quotient was high with the younger Huskies. I was impressed with Andrews' quiet yet confident demeanor. That kid was for real!

Agree, except when he was in STJs face near the end, he was trashing him from about 1 foot away, near the free throw lane during a stoppage. There seemed to be plenty of punk moves by the puppies all night.

The big clue for me was GP II's demeanor. He's normally a really friendly guy to the other team, helping guys up, etc. Initially, I thought it was the weight of the game that made him not engage with the other team like he often does, but I'm thinking now it was because he really didn't like them. He probably didn't like AA draining shots with him draped all over him though either.

Watching on TV, it seemed like there was a contingent of UW fans/family members gesticulating at the crowd, and just generally rubbing our collective noses in the defeat (or what appeared to be a defeat at the time). So maybe that's a culture that encouraged or at least tolerated by Romar.
