CARTER BOOTH OF 6’ 192 B-R / T-R MILL CREEK, WA. / HENRY JACKSON HS
Carter Booth is a two time All Wesco 4A and Greater Everett Area first team selection that patrolled the center field terrain for Henry Jackson HS in Mill Creek, WA. For 3 years. Booth is an aggressive hitter with improving power. Speed is his calling card – defensively in CF and on the base paths. At Jackson, he stole 26 bases in 29 attempts. He led his Jackson team to the quarter-finals in 2018 WIAA Class 4A play. Carter spent his summers playing for Chaffey Baseball in Seattle, the Northwest Bandits Baseball club, following in the footsteps of former Beavers, Dylan Davis and Michael Conforto. Also played for the Royals in the Area Code games.
2018: Booth played in 23 games and was 29-78 and a .372 BA. He scored 34 runs with 17 RBI and 16/18 SB. Hit 4 doubles, 3 triples, and 5 home runs. Was issued 18 BB and 2 HBP, with 14 K’s. OB% of .500, and SLG% of .692. Had a
FLDG% of .966.
Henry Jackson HS finished the season with a 16-7 record and 10-4 in the WesCo 4A League. In the WIAA 4A state playoffs, the Timberwolves defeated Port Orchard-South Kitsap 3-0 in the opening round and lost to Vancouver-Skyview, 2-1 in the quarter-finals.
2017: Played in 25 games, was 39-80 and a .487 batting average with nine doubles, three triples, and two home runs. Logged 17 BB and 2 HBP with 13 K’s. Produced 21 RBI and 7/8 stolen base attempts. OB %
.651 with a SLG.% of .989
Henry Jackson HS wrapped up their campaign with a 13-12 record, going 10-8 in the WesCo 4A League. The Timberwolves did not qualify for post-season play.
2016: Started in 22 of 24 games Was 29-70 and batted .415 , collecting five doubles, three triples, and one home run. Drew 15 BB and 1 HBP with 15 K’s. Totaled 15 RBI and 3 stolen bases in 3 attempts. OB% was .522 and SLG% was .614.
Henry Jackson HS completed their season with a 14-10 mark and managed a 10-7 record in the ultra competitive WesCo 4A League. Jackson did not compete in post-season play.
SUMMER BASEBALL:
Played in 2016 and ’17 for the Northwest Bandits Baseball (Senior American Legion)Team. The Bandits have sent a stream of players to the Oregon State program including recent stars, Dylan Davis and Michael Conforto.
Played for the Royals Area Club team in the A/C games in Long Beach.
