1000x the article that hack Canzano could ever hope to produce in his wildest dreams. One of the only opinion pieces on it that dared to present both sides of the story. That legally he plead guilty, but also has steadfastly maintained innocence, and even wrote that he said to opted for the plea to avoid a lengthy trial and possible jail time. |

Maybe the Royals starting to lay some of the groundwork needed to ultimately give him that chance. However it works, I don't expect anything tangible to happen until after the Beavers run through the Series.

Great article.
I sincerely hope Luke throws a gem of a game in the SR, and even more of a gem in the CWS.
Not because it will advance the cause of Oregon State, or PC, or our team, or my bragging rights about my beloved Beavers.
But because it might reignite the conversation of how a very talented youngster is continuing to be punished, and when has everyone finally gotten their pound of flesh?
And so that he, and for generations to come, we Beavers can remember him fondly and well for his final outings on what might (sadly) be the biggest stage American society will ever let him play on.
