Agree, we really need this one, or things get very shaky. That said, I've struggled with what we leverage to get this one. They are ahead of us in every major statistical category except FG% (they are rock bottom in the conference) and TOs. However, they are top in offensive rebounding (2nd overall in rebounding to only Colorado), and tops in Steals (possibly nullifying one of our biggest strengths). They will force TOs on us, but hopefully we can force them into a lot more (we are top in the conference in TOs, they are #11). We absolutely must take care of the ball and limit their rebounding advantage, and force them to continue their brick-laying to bring this one to the left column. espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/conferences/statistics/team/_/id/21/stat/steals/sort/turnovers/pac-12-conference

It's win or go home time.
4 to go need at least 3 plus a win or two in the PAC Tourney to have a decent shot at NCAA"s.
If not an NIT bid is almost assured.
Thank you
Signed Cap. Obvious!
Go Beaver's!

We have to sweep the Washington schools and get one in LA to have any chance of a bid, and it may require that we beat USC at that. I do think that we're a lock if we win out and get 1 in the PAC 12 tourney, but anything short of that is uncertain, and losing tonight would mean that the dream of a return to the Big Dance this year is over, unless we swept in LA and won 2 or more on the conference tourney. Just my opinion!

RPI is way high...don't need to win out. Win these two. Steal one in LA helps. A win in league tourney is a bonus.

If Reid keeps missing FTs, all this NCAA talk doesn't really matter

RPI #33 + GPII taking OSU to the dance since dad did = almost assured. RPI-schmarPI. You can't chance the effects of a one-and-done in the Pac-12 tournament. Again (for the fifth time) - RPI is a factor not an overriding factor. It might be used between two otherwise equally considered teams to keep one in - and one out. That's it. Wins ( Pac-12 conference wins against teams ahead of you, especially) are the best factor in a team's favor. OSU doesn't fare nearly as well in the KenPom and Sagarin rankings (also used in factoring). www.oregonlive.com/beavers/index.ssf/2016/02/pac-12_basketball_updated_rpi.html#incart_river_indexOk, I thought the "equation" might help you get it. I'll use less advanced math: Public Relations PLUS Great Story Line (GPII) IS GREATER THAN your girlie numbers.
