LOL. Shut your mouths and go home to the dirty south and stay there. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind seeing LSU again same place, same time next year. Lord knows, I was scared to death of this matchup because of last year, but I like seeing the Beavs step up. Plus, I suspect after this whooping, the fans will have a little more respect for us in the future. It has the makings of a great rivalry. Bring it on!

And there was really no reason to be scared this year. This LSU team lost a TON from last year and even lost key pieces from this year. LSU has never won an away regional. I didn’t expect that to change this year. Do me a favor and don’t go read the tiger rant to much or if you do take it with a grain of salt.

Now if you haven’t found the SEC Rant that is pretty good because it’s all the fan bases arguing with each other.
For instance I didn’t not know if you know but Mississippi State fans thought they were about to hire Jim Schlossnagle as head baseball coach. When me and other posters pointed out reason why that was unlikely state fans jumped down our throats with reasons why no one would turn them down (new stadium, pay whatever it takes, and fan base). Well today it came out that schloss is staying at TCU. The state fans are already spinning the story that McDonnell (Louisville Coach) was always the target.

I'll admit, Tiger Rant damages my affinity for LSU that is otherwise quite likable. But geez, that place is worse than the YouTube comment sections - I sure hope the vast majority of those posters are not actually LSU grads.
Otherwise, they ended our season last year and got a bunch of our returners giving LSU our most focused effort, in our house. The NCAA selection committee couldn't have put them in a worse position to start the playoffs.

The LSU fans I met this weekend were wonderful. Cheered for their team, didn't leave when they got way behind (unlike those frontrunners in Eugene), were respectful of what OSU has accomplished, appreciative of how good our team is, and were very baseball savvy.
I'd love a home-and-home. Saturday night the stadium was in a frenzy, what an atmosphere.

LOL. Shut your mouths and go home to the dirty south and stay there. Wow thanks But really good luck the rest of the way! No animosity from me. We may have won big in our 3 wins, but you guys won the 2 most critical games to this point in our new “rivalry”! I know that LSU has a very good baseball program. They are not 14-1 or 12-0 worse than the Beavs, but our program is also very good. I have much respect for the Tigers and am thankful for the regional championship and the chance to advance and host the super regional. I want our guys to be humble and thankful, but confident and dialed in moving ahead!

None of the fans I met this weekend were anything like the obnoxious internet trolls that found this site the last two years. The people I met were friendly and courteous for the most part. Only a couple got in digs about our little stadium and small town.

I had a clown in my row (probably in his 60's), who said "excuse me, I need to get up and go heckle some fans between innings in the LSU section". He did this about 3-4 times. Think he got sent back to his seat for good after the 4th time. Granted they were PG-related gems like "what time is the flight home?" ZING.

I was sitting near the LSU section, and very much respected how their fans kept cheering despite the score. Everything seemed good natured and positive - and added to the atmosphere by making our own fans cheer louder to drown them out

This is probably impossible from their perspective, but a 2 for 1 deal in football. Two in BR and one in Corvallis. I'd guess LSU players would jump at a chance to come to the northwest for once in their college careers. Right now they could pencil in a W. Hopefully not in a couple of years.
