Abel having completed 5 shutout innings has done his job. Everything from here is gravy 3rd starters for Oregon State must throw 8 or 9 shutout innings to join the octagon.

This Bain fella has the best location of any LSU pitcher i have seen. Where has he been? All he does is throw fastballs man. OSU should tee off on him. We can't hit relief pitchers. All we do is take strikes. 0-2 1-2. Sometimes it seems like we worry more about driving up pitch counts, than squaring up a ball.

Agree? Nope. Those pitches last year were not more than 6inches off the plate. I think ink we found why this fan base is so salty If you think that, then you haven't seen the screencaps. Even if that’s true why didn’t your pitchers just throw the ball there?

I hope gambrel gets in this game. We may need him with Minnesota or beyond.

I am fine with sending Gretz... up by 8, make LSU make the play. They have struggled with the catch and throw tonight. Put pressure on, stay aggressive.

Tiger droppings baws complaining about the strike zone. ROFL Uh sounds familiar Until it gets 1/2 foot outside the box it’s a moot point. Agree? Agree? Nope. Those pitches last year were not more than 6inches off the plate. I think ink we found why this fan base is so salty If you think that, then you haven't seen the screencaps. Even if that’s true why didn’t your pitchers just throw the ball there? LOL! This sequence of responses must be a troll. Otherwise it's just too stupid.
a) It's easy to find the images online showing ump Greg Street calling strikes in that game (on the Beavers at least) that were well beyond 6 inches off the plate. They literally were in the opposite batter's box. Everybody who saw that game knows this.
b) Yeah, baw, that made the Beaver fan base more than a little salty! Especially when facing LSU again. You're just now figuring that out?
c) LSU fans have informed Beaver fans that pitchers just need to throw where the umpire calls strikes and the batters need to swing at pitches that are where the umpire call strikes (even when they are nearly unreachable while staying in your own batter's box). Thus, it must be that LSU fans don't complain about the strike zone.
d) "Tiger droppings baws complaining about the strike zone. ROFL". That's the point. Duh.
