No room for us to be gloating, plenty of work ahead. Remember Omaha sequence last year ? Obviously very different situation, but First game - win BIG. Second and third games ( lose, lose ). i want to see us keep the pedal down. I actually relaxed through the entire last 7 innings last night... the first 2....., not so much. Go Beavers ! There is always room for fans to gloat. That's what these message boards are FOR. We don't play the game - thank God. |

Just my thoughts, but LSU was damn lucky to get Luke on a "off" night. Just think the score could have been 14 to 0. You say off night I say we hit him just too players and we just didn't get timely hitting when we had men on base which was most of the night. No excuse but our top pitchers are both unavailable because of injuries. That just the way of baseball sometimes! I Hope we do better tonight. Geaux Tigers! |

We suck at it. Our 7 8 9 hole hitters are mostly freshmen who were pressed into service because of injuries. We are just not a complete team at this time. We are exactly what I though we would be. We expect to go to CWS every year even when things don't go our way. |

We are exactly what I though we would be. We expect to go to CWS every year even when things don't go our way. That makes sense, but it seemed quite clear Marinara wasn't going to give Luke k's whatever it took. He'd rather have guys look silly trying to bunt than strike out swinging. He's too calculating to have guys bunt who have no chance of getting it down unless he had another goal in mind. That's my take from the blimp.
