No room for us to be gloating, plenty of work ahead.
Remember Omaha sequence last year ? Obviously very different situation, but First game - win BIG. Second and third games ( lose, lose ).
i want to see us keep the pedal down. I actually relaxed through the entire last 7 innings last night... the first 2....., not so much.

Your defense and hitting put on a show last night against my young Tiger team. I Don't think your pitcher was as great as advertised but was adequate enough with the great fielding. Congrats on the win we hope to see you again for another try.

Congrats on the win we hope to see you again for another try. Our d is what kept you guys to one run. Luke wasn't as sharp as usual, but we had some great D. I do want to say, every LSU fan I met last night were very nice and said they were really enjoying their trip to the beautiful NW. Best of Luck to you and maybe we'll see you guys tonight! On a side note, one LSU fan told me that he was thinking we were going to be a bit more rowdy and "raucous" like the commentators were saying the night before. I said "Man, after the 3rd inning, there was nothing to really get us on edge." He laughed and went "Yeah, sorry we're not giving y'all a good game." It's all good. Go Beavs! |

Just my thoughts, but LSU was damn lucky to get Luke on a "off" night. Just think the score could have been 14 to 0.
