Went down to Beaver store this morning to look for an old school OSU hat, sold out. While looking at the hats struck up conversation with a Northwestern St fan, he wanted to buy an OSU hat to take back to Louisiana. Funny guy, he went to NW State as an undergrad and LSU as graduate student, said he was rooting for the Beavs tonight as ALL the other schools in his state hate LSU as they feel looked down upon. He was real familiar with the Civil War relationship with uo and OSU and doesn't like the ucks just as arrogant as LSU......said he felt right at home in Corvallis, like being in the south everyone was so friendly. He couldn't say enough about Pat Casey, we have something special here. Cool dude.

And they did well with a 9-0 win today. Hopefully they have an opportunity to beat lsu tomorrow and we play them again.

Been fun watching us play at Oregon State. We dont have the biggest fan base but we do have a very loyal fan base.
Very impressed with your program and fan base. Really good atmosphere for baseball.
Your defense is impressive.
Everything the Demon fan told you is quite accurate. LSU has a tremendous fan base but a definite portion is quite arrogant and gives them a bad name.

I am betting heavily that there is a rematch between Northwestern State and the Beavers in the late game Sunday. Pitching will be interesting for both teams.
