Question for someone . Whats the rule for fair balls hit down the 3rd base line that roll into the corners and the fielder puts up his hands.
after the replay, it looked like the ball was playable. Announcers said the same thing.

Difference between WC baseball and Southern baseball. We would have bunted him over to 3rd with 0 outs. Get a number on board early.

Bottom of the 2nd I missed the first runner getting on base,
Runner on 1st no outs 1-1 count = Base hit on a 1-2 pitch runners on 1st and 2nd no outs for LSU
will they bunt to advance the runners ?

we tend not to bunt when it calls for it..even when a run is needed sitting on 3rd....that's a pm thing.... you don't need to bunt when they walk you and then trade outs for runs. Another infield single runner out at first, one scores, runner on 3rd 2 LSU - 0 SDSU |
