Not a bad first weekend of a college career.

D1 baseball article says he may be the best freshman in the NATION. That's mighty high praise.

Everything that I heard in advance about this kid - from his speed, to his skillset to his work ethic in high school and on the national team suggested that he could be one of the best in the nation EARLY. I was actually surprised that he wasn't drafted higher. Very exciting!

Depending on how adamant teams are not wasting a high level draft pick when the player makes it clear his not headed their way. Just not real sure if that was his case.

I was actually surprised that he wasn't drafted higher. Very exciting! I read that size dropped him lower than where he would sign if drafted. He is not tiny by any means. Like him better at second than short, but that may be because I am a huge TMO fan.
