I cheered on Florida State against LSU last year, because I thought that they presented fewer problems than LSU. I think that LSU still presents more problems than San Diego State. I think that LSU is one of the toughest two seeds in the Tournament. |

Reminds me of Nebraska last year. The #3 seeds are 4-2 in the first game in the Corvallis Regional. The last #2 seed to win the opener was Creighton in 2011. Kansas was the last before that in 2006. In Corvallis Regionals, Oregon State has never had to face the two-seed twice. In two of the six tournaments, including Nebraska last year, the two-seed went 0-2. Focus on Northwestern State. We can discuss the following opponent ad nauseam after the game ends on Friday. |

Their chances just got slimmer....Paul Manieri just announced that pitching starters Hilliard and Labas are a no go for regional. Their arms are toast.
