You absolutely HAVE TO WIN game 1. Save#1 for game 2. Be 2-0, and you have Wholestaff against their #4 or their Wholestaff.

Parker mentioned on Joe Beaver today he thinks it will be Bryce. I would be surprised if it isn’t.

That was my guess on Monday, and I’m even more convinced now. • Don’t leave both of your best 2 horses in the barn in a double elimination format - 1 of them might never get to the starting gate. • Northweatern St has the most right side lineup in the regional, so no reason to throw our best lefty. bennyshouse.com/thread/9383/stats-corvallis-regional• The schedule works out just fine with Luke going on Saturday after Bryce. Planning ahead for the tourney, matching up is irrelevant in Supers against 1 team so you keep Bryce on Friday and Luke on Saturday. If the Beavs make it to Omaha, the games start on Saturday, so either guy is available to match up. You could flip them again and Luke would be on regular rest.

I can see going with Bryce for more righty matchups. Currently, both pitchers have been aces. Here are the last 4 Pac-12 games by each:
Luke: 30.2 IP, 4 ER. 1.19 ERA Bryce: 27.2 IP, 3 ER. 0.99 ERA
I like our chances with either one. Just gotta bring the bats...
GO BEAVS!

I'm comfortable with Bryce, since he's gone up against the best pitcher from the opposition a few times this season, and came out on top. Also I'm greedy for a Luke vs LSU line up show down.

No way the coaches are letting this cat out of the bag to anybody. Probably 3 people know who starts tomorrow and maybe a couple who know they are not starting.
