I hope this works.... twitter is challenging my technical skills. I like this line up, and until Carry comes back I think this is a good way to roll. The interesting piece... Atwood at DH, time will tell who will be our DH. Go BEAVS!

Heimlich is throwing darts early. A lot of first pitch strikes.

Morrison SS Madrigal 2B Harrison 1B Gillette RF Hamilton LF Nobach CF Grenier 3B Ice C Atwood DH Heimlich P I went old school and typed it. So far so good for Luke. He's (IMO) absolutely critical for us. Really need someone to be the guy to step up/into the rotation. he's my preseason pick.

Joe Gillette was a short timer after taking 3 strikes. Jack Anderson in for the top of the second.

Utah pitcher is Jamie Moyer fast. Beavs not getting good swings today. Coach is on the warpath.

The Iceman has a nice 4 rbi inning. Two key gundowns at second early in the game so Logan is having a good game.

10-2 final. Nice outing by Heimlich. 94 pitches / 67 strikes. 6.1, 4 H, 2 ER 7K/1 BB. 15 hits on offense.
All in all, a respectable 3-1 first weekend. 34 runs scored, freshman looked solid and we definitely didn't play all that well.

Nice, comfortable win. More of those please! Still doesn't appear Utah has the bats to hit PAC-12 pitching.

I like the low walks by Heimlich. I think we need him in the weekend rotation. Id like to see that left arm on Saturday between Drew and the other Righty.
