Hey guys. Really excited to get to play you guys again this yr. I'll admit that we had some calls go our way last yr and I'm hoping this year the games will be evenly called. Anyway, I will be making the trip up with my daughter and 3 of her sorority sisters from LSU! They are wanting to know if it's legal to smoke a little pot while we are up there? I haven't smoked in over 20 yrs so I'm not much help to them. I may have to break my drought if it's legal and plentiful around campus. So will that be a possibility? What is the bar situation gonna be like? We plan on doing a lot of drinking and a few of the girls are gonna be under 21. Will they be able to enter the different bars we go too? If so, do ya'll recommend any great spots where we can get some quality drinks? I plan on letting lose and we are all looking forward to this trip. Thanks in advance on any info you can provide. Here's to a great weekend of baseball!

If you are bringing 4 LSU sorority sisters to Corvallis, PLEASE stop by our tailgater.

People smoke pot openly on the streets of Corvallis. It's always 4:20.
People in Corvallis drink heavily. The drinking age is 21, but if you're 4-10 or have more than 10 teeth, you can get in to any bar.
Glad to help.

People smoke pot openly on the streets of Corvallis. It's always 4:20. But, I don't think that's legal. Neither is smoking weed under the age of 21. There are about 8 dispensaries in town were you can walk into and get pot. There are only 2 liquor stores. They WILL get carded, so bring ID.

Enjoy your trip out west. OSU campus is non smoking. Smoke your gange on private property or @ home. Can't partake in green bud at bars or restaurants either. more info: whatslegaloregon.com/

How am I supposed to react to a dad putting a smiley face behind the statement "I'm traveling with my daughter and her sorority sisters?" I mean, I know they're in college so it's probably assumed that they drink and smoke underage, but to just put it out there on the internet.....
"Hey guys, just FYI, I'm bringing four LSU sorority girls to your town, and they want to smoke weed and drink."
Also, being responsible for four young adult females in a college town 2,000 miles from home sounds like a nightmare. Good luck, buddy.

Herny's post was pretty obvious.

I understand your viewpoint, but it's a lot like taking your daughters to Mardi Gras...

Going to the Mardi Gras starts as children sitting on a seat built on a stepladder on St Charles Ave...bringing teen age daughters down under chaperonage while they're in high school is part of teaching them how to behave properly .... And not do stupid s@@@ that Will make them social media celebrities...

The Corvallis cops can be, hmmm, how to say this... Well, they can be rather enthusiastic about enforcing the letter of the law. And with lots of out of town/state guests in town for a big athletic event, they will probably have extra cops on duty. I'd hate to see your trip to our beautiful state get ruined by a zealous cop busting one or more of the girls for MIP and you for supplying to a minor. So I would council caution on where you choose to smoke weed. In public is generally not a good idea, as it is illegal. Underage drinking at a bar, same issue.
Take up the person who offered to have you stop by their tailgater. A much safer place for someone underage to have a beer.
For the weed. You might consider edibles instead of smoking...
JMHO...
