For those of us who would like to go to the "promise land" (Omaha) for the first time how about some advice on tickets, lodging, travel,etc. Are there many people at the stadium selling their tiks. Checking the NCAA site it states that several games are already sold out.

my advice - GO ! 2 day drive, flights are tough to get and pricey. may have to stay across the river in council bluffs but rooms will be available. tickets are plentiful, lots of resellers especially after teams start getting sent home. never meet anyone who didn't enjoy the trip regardless of how the beavers did. GO !

110% GO! So worth it. Easy to get tix through scalpers and even through OSU ticket office you should be fine. Alaska has a nice direct or quick stop in Seattle and can get refundable ones now

I just moved to within a 3 1/2 hour drive of Omaha. I will be going for the first time as well if they make it.

I would love to see the LSU team play. Is there a NIT tournament for the teams that lose in the regional and is at Baton Rouge?
