only 3 teams from Pac 12 in the playoffs? Stanford, OS & UCLA
UW last one out. RPI of 62. How can you defend that? If in they go as a 4 seed? If only there was a CBI for baseball. That would be perfect
How long does Tracy Smith get at ASU? 2 years in a row they miss playoff and sub .500 record. They are a sleeping giant <sarcasm>
Rumours on Horton. Do they come to pass?
Does SC Sunday win vs OS give Dan Hubbs breathing room?

Does SC Sunday win vs OS give Dan Hubbs breathing room? i suppose it could happen (only 3 teams) Even better would be if RPI 46 Arizona gets in and 63 RPI Huskies doesn’t.. ..despite their “great” final weekend - though not quite as GREAT as OSU >>> 000 triple-shutout over UCLA exactly two years ago. Come to think of it, the Beavers DIDN’T make it in that year (did they Coach Meggs?)

Rumors on Horton were confirmed on local Eugene news. He is out. UW missing invite even though they came in third would be karmatic. I hope this happens.

Gotta love it when you get that dreaded vote of confidence and denial of rumors that you're being fired by your organization.

I’d sure like to see a link on that “confirmed on local news” (Horton out). All I can come up hunting around on the internets is that NEXT season would be his last. After the pathetic Thur. & Sat. Performances though, I suppose it could be due sooner, rather than later.

Not going to be a good move for us. Horton is old school, obstinate and recruits guys that must say yes to ‘ can you stand in the box and make it look like you got hit by a fastball ? I mean, a real acting job, you don’t need to hit the ball, just let the ball hit you... easy peasy ! I am worried they might actually get a coach that can recruit. The good thing may be that the players on that team now, may bolt.I would like to see a guy like Yovan, Even though he has been ‘infected’ by duck BS machine, Switch over to the sunny side. It’s his only shot to get to the ML’s.

only 3 teams from Pac 12 in the playoffs? Stanford, OS & UCLA UW last one out. RPI of 62. How can you defend that? potential At-Large seeds with questionable RPI (i.e. UW at #63) are at mercy of the results of how mid-major Conference Tournments play out. Perfect example is Ohio Valley Conference championship to be decided TODAY with Morehead State (RPI > 100) vs. Tennessee Tech (RPI 20 with a 48-8 record). If Morehead wins and gets the auto-bid, TT will obviously get an at-large bid, and there’ll be 1 less available for UW. In other Conference championship games today, 2 have the potential to effect the Beavers final pre-seeding RPI position: both Florida State and Ole Miss play today. They are both (barely) above OSU in RPI, at #5 and #6. No teams immediately BELOW the Beavs have any means by which to pass OSU.

Concerning Horton, you guys need to keep up. hole announced a few days ago that he is coming back for 2019, despite this being his first losing season since his first losing season, way back in 2009.
