Game 3's in postseason are going to be nailbiters. Ugh.

Shame to throw away another conference title. Letting Utah steal one in 2016, now this.

We are toast if we have to play more than 2 games in a row! Too bad you have to in order to win it all! We press way too much in these games offensively! I realize we aren't pitching it well, but also no run support! Seems like they are putting too much pressure on themselves to try and explode offensively in order to make up for the pitching. Madigal's strikeout is a good example (So out of character for such a great player!).

Losing a game to a good team, after beating them twice is not “throwing away” anything. It’s called .667 winning percentage baseball, which is considered pretty damn good by many fans. Agreed 3-6-1 on Sundays is a stinker...of course that makes the Beavs record otherwise a sparkling 41-4: that’s a real thing! I’ll take it.

The pitching issues are obvious, but this is a really good bunch of veteran hitters who too often haven’t acted like it on the back end of series. Just weird!

The problem at times for the Beavers is timely hitting. Had eight hits today to UCLA's seven. UCLA just had the hits when they needed them the most. Only lost 4-1 but is a problem figuring out who to throw out there in game three. I thought Abel would start and they would try to get 3 or 4 innings out of him. I was surprised to see Burns thrown out there for this game.

I think we are working the pitching out - if either Luke or Bryce had only given up 4 runs, we would expect to win on most days with our offense. I think that Eisert, Able, Tweedt and Mulholland all showed that they are getting into form. I don't understand starting off with Burns tho, so little experience and suddenly he is thrust into facing UCLA on the last day of the season with the Pac-12 title on the line. But that is why I don't get paid the big bucks, and have Rolaids sent to me descretely in a brown box by the gross to my office. Send some to the bleachers tho, please!
