Hamilton is the only Beav to have gone yard so far. I hope we didn't put too much pressure on him, with that silly poll of mine.

K.J. is swinging better as the games go along. He has absolutely blistered several line drives, but dead on to a glove. The pitching book on him is well established, but hopefully he will adjust.

Everything to the left side. He needs to use the whole field.

From what jaybird has said he has been on the screws for a couple atom balls. Pat said in a pregame show that KJ was getting "big". Pat Casey speak for trying to hit HR instead of line drives
Early game today 11:00 am PT

KJ will be fine... PC will make sure to guide him like he did MC... "you're not a HR hitter, you hit HRs." MC began to use the entire field and with power... right pitch, right location and it's gone. Otherwise hit it flat and hard. KJ is no MC, but we'll see dramatic improvement between now and the end of the season. The "soph" jinx is real if you go out trying to prove who you are, instead of just being who you are.

Riles, the Utah Valley closer threw a couple of high fastballs and a high curve to get the K I think, but all other pitchers have thrown down and mainly in and soft. Is that correct? I don't get a great read on in and out on the low stuff from where we sit. It also looks like K. J. is sitting fastball on the first pitch and looking bad with off speed instead on that first pitch. Correct?

He is overly hungry for sure. Looked better today. I am sure the book is stay out, and throw soft. He's got to just relax and be KJ. The Beavs are killing the ball, so he won't feel he has to carry the O. And yes, Luke looked really good. Scotland has thrown pretty well also. Yeskie may have won that argument with Bails.
