Stanford was quick to put a positive spin on their come-from-behind win at Goss and in effect minimize the series loss, but those first two losses shook that team. Tonight's loss in Seattle won't help that situation.
Beck and Bubic were no longer invincible - they were roughed up and the ugly head of reality was now in their locker room.

Taking a longer view, Stanford is what...now 2-5 vs. the top teams in the PAC (UCLA, OSU, UW). They're in first place because they cleaned up on the PAC's bottom feeders. I'm not at all convinced that they are, or have been, the best team in the PAC.
They sure as he!! aren't the #1 team in the country.
