As an ardent fan of softball all I can say is get used to it. Come tourney time I must resign myself to the fact that it may happen. Best therapy for me is to watch the Beavers and when they are out stay as far away as possible from the action unless of course I get wind of tsdtr losing and then youtube it and watch it over and over and over. Remember, it's the Emerald City.

As a former student at the University of Alabama (graduate of OSU), and an admitted fan of the Crimson Tide football team, I was interested to read what the fallout was from the O line grad transfer in the news you mention. The answer is....none. Zero in one publication, small article in the other. That's the difference in football programs from the South and the West I guess. The loss is no news to one, and pasted all over The Oregonian in the other. Funny stuff.
