An 'interesting' 3 innings for Abel. A ton of pitches (82)...Only 1/2 have been in the strike zone...Truly electric flashes at times. Beavs up 2-1

He's got to get that control in check or our lead is gone. Hopefully on a short leash next inning.

I woulnd't run him out another unless we put up a crooked number...and even then, I don't know.
41 strikes. 41 balls. 5 K's are nice but 5 BB's and 2 HBP. Time to put a fork in him IMO.

These Pac12 announcers are THE WORST!! Huge 2 RBI double and sounds like they're asleep, or Stanford homers. God I wish I could sync up Parker on the radio.

He's back, we'll see! Come on Kevin!!! Casey just told the pac 12 guys if Kevin doesnt get the first guy he will be yanked. Abel did get the first guy but just gave up a single. The leash is there and it is very short. Pearce is ready.

Might be more of a comment on the pen. Abel will be over 90 pitches sometime thru the 4th... Seems they are saying innings needed to get thru this game with just Pierce and Jake. A very ugly outing and very fortunate it's only a 1 spot on board.

Not too shabby there by Abel. 100 pitches now, will he come out for 4-5-6 guys in 5th?
Let's put 2 more on the board to make it easier decision huh?

Abel gets the third out. Probably done on account of pitch count but who knows.

PJ lead off double on a great compact swing.
Likely only Jones could have beat the throw from P to 3rd on bunt (it was VERY close) - TV guys think he was out. It was essentially a 'tie'. 1st & 3rd 0 outs for Beavs. Let's THROAT this thing !
