Oregon State was ninth before the Oregon game on Tuesday. With the win over the Ducks, the Beavers jumped to seventh. With the results on Wednesday, Oregon State jumped to sixth.
Oregon State cannot catch Florida this weekend without a ton of help. Oregon State actually should not be able to pass Stanford, even with a sweep, absent a lot of help.
North Carolina is basically a game-and-a-half ahead of Oregon State in RPI. The Beavers can probably pass the Tar Heels with a sweep and a series win by Duke or a series win by Oregon State and a Duke sweep.
Georgia is basically in the same spot as North Carolina. (Georgia and North Carolina are tied to beyond the third decimal point in RPI.) If Florida wins the series against Georgia, Oregon State can probably pass Georgia with a sweep. If Florida sweeps, Oregon State can probably pass Georgia with a series win against Stanford.
Arkansas is currently ahead of Oregon State in 5th in RPI. However, the Beavers are basically ahead of the Razorbacks by a half game this weekend. Arkansas probably cannot catch Oregon State, if the Beavers sweep the Cardinal. If Oregon State only wins two, Arkansas can probably only pass Oregon State with a sweep. If Oregon State only wins one, Arkansas probably must win the series against Texas A&M to pass Oregon State. If Oregon State gets swept, Arkansas probably must win a game against Texas A&M to pass Oregon State.
Auburn sits in 7th, a spot behind Oregon State. Oregon State's wins and losses count for more than Auburn's wins and losses this weekend. The Tigers probably cannot catch the Beavers, if Oregon State sweeps Stanford. If Oregon State only wins two, Auburn probably must sweep Ole Miss to pass the Beavers. If Oregon State only wins one, Auburn probably must win at least two against Ole Miss to pass the Beavers. If Oregon State gets swept, the Tigers probably pass the Beavers, no matter what Auburn does.
Florida State sits in 8th. Florida State plays Mount Saint Mary's this weekend. The Seminoles probably must sweep to pass the Beavers. Even then, Florida State probably only passes Oregon State, if the Beavers get swept. All other results (excluding ties), probably leaves Oregon State ahead of Florida State.
Texas Tech sits in 9th. The Red Raiders have a bye this weekend. Texas Tech probably can only pass Oregon State, if the Beavers get swept.
Ole Miss sits in 10th. Ole Miss plays Auburn. Oregon State's is basically a game-and-a-half ahead of Ole Miss. The Rebels probably cannot catch the Beavers, if Oregon State wins the series against Stanford. If Stanford wins the series against Oregon State, Ole Miss can pass the Beavers with a sweep. If Stanford sweeps the series, Ole Miss can pass Oregon State with a series win over Auburn.
Clemson sits in 11th. Clemson plays Austin Peay this weekend. The Tigers can probably catch the Beavers with as sweep and a Stanford series win. At that point, opponents' and opponents' opponents' wins and losses probably decide who will wind up ahead. Clemson can also probably pass Oregon State with a series win and a Stanford sweep.
Stetson and Texas A&M sit at 12th and 13th, respectively. Both are basically a game-and-a-half behind Oregon State. They can probably pass Oregon State with a sweep and a Stanford series win. They can also probably pass Oregon State with a series win and Stanford sweep.
The only other team that has a chance to catch Oregon State is Duke in 18th. The Devils can pass the Beavers with a sweep and a Cardinal sweep. All other results probably leave Oregon State ahead of Duke.
Depending on results, Oregon State is probably looking to fall somewhere between 3rd and 15th in RPI after this weekend.
