OSBrawler - thank you fir the updates. Much appreciated, as a fan of the wrestling team and wrestling in general, I just wanted to match the unfortunate crickets with a message of thanks. Let's hope the team can improve. The biggest issue in my mind is the pac12 needs another team or two to strengthen the conference. I am also not pleased the administration let Roberts go if the Tribune article is accurate.

Yes sir...its the slow part of the season, and any info is few and far between it seems, I try to put up what I see.
2 AA's in March was big. Need about 5 performances like that to really make an impact on the team race. Top 10 is great, top 4 gets you a team trophy...all good. Have to find a way to keep the best kids in state. Keep them home for starters.

I believe an announcement should be coming soon (so I've been told). |

Even though it would increase competition for NW recruits, I wish WSU would/could add wrestling - there's a ton of talent to draw from in Eastern Washington/Eastern Oregon/Idaho/Montana... There is exactly 1 college in the state of Washington with a wrestling program (Highline CC). Obviously a pipe dream given WSU's financial situation... |

WSU or Washington adding would be big. I could see WSU really supporting their team. I believe both WA schools have club teams now. I'd like to see UCLA, Utah or Colorado add as well. The school down the road should reinstate their program too. Horton and their baseball team aren't getting it done. Cheaper to run a wrestling pgm, then you can have PAC's, district and state tournaments in the M Knight arena.
Interesting news on Roberts...interested to see where he lands. Happy for him.

Got a little bit of news yesterday. Will have 7 home dates on the upcoming schedule. Michigan, ISU, Stanford, ASU, S. Dakota State among them.
11-12 guys coming in to the program on the newest class. Those named already. Also transfer Fred Green, from UVA. Another bigger guy transfer, forgetting his name.
No Dale Thomas Golf fundraiser this summer; there will be something else closer to the start of the season.
