Well.. unless there's a long standing Jace Fry vs Phillies beef that I don't know about. I didn't know of a Hawaii vs OSU beef until this morning either, so there's that. |

So far - including today (Wednesday 5/9) Jace has had 3 appearances - for one of the worst MLB teams: 3-2/3 innings - no hits, no runs - 1 B.B., 5 strikeouts. Small sample, but VERY GOOD.

Don’t believe Wetzler is with Phillies......he’s in Marlins system on 7-day DL with their high A team in Jupiter, Fla.

The very same advice most high round players use to figure out the stay/go decision. Cost him a shot at MLB after his Junior year? |

Ben still appears on the roster for the Jupiter Hammerheads in the Class A-Advanced Florida State League. Ben started the season on the disabled list and is still there. Jupiter is in Palm Beach County. Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter is the Spring home of both the Cardinals and the Marlins. |

What is Ben's status right now? He is on the DL with their A+ team. He's been kind of stuck there for awhile. Four years with a 16-game stint in Greensboro to break it up. |

Speaking of minor league Beavs, Gaviglio was just called up to Toronto today (Stroman to the DL). Was off to a great start in Buffalo - 1.86 ERA in 5 starts... Sounds like he's potentially starting on Sunday vs Boston.

Speaking of minor league Beavs, Gaviglio was just called up to Toronto today (Stroman to the DL). Was off to a great start in Buffalo - 1.86 ERA in 5 starts... Sounds like he's potentially starting on Sunday vs Boston. Sam has been doing well. Which is good, because we have a lot of other guys that are struggling right now including Caleb, K.J., Logan, etc... |
