I have listened to 1080 over the years, going back to Parker’s *uck honk days in the early 90’s. Lately have kind of enjoyed big suck and I suck during my afternoon drive home. WELL NO LONGER MY BEAVER BROTHERS (and sisters). These aholes just announced that 1080 is now the home of the cheating effin bastages. I have already cleared that preset from my car radio.

I have not lived in Portland since 2007 so I have no idea what the station is like. But I do remember in '91 or '92. Sports talk! What a concept!! Parker, Steve and Steve in the morning. Some attorney and a local umpire had one or two hour shows. Then Mychael Thompson and Kermit Washington shared a show. The sports guy from channel 8, he was good. I wonder if he'll do well in radio? |

OSU used to be on "The Fan". When they dropped their power at sundown you couldn't hear them south of Milwaukie.
Happy OSU is on 50,000w KEX although I need to be careful not tune early or tune off late so as to avoid their RWNJ programming.
