1772 (or was it 1762?) in attendance. Beats the previous season best, 1306 established Saturday against USC.

The win also makes it 8 straight wins against them.

The win also makes it 8 straight wins against them. you can't get to 142 without going through number 8 unless I guess tsdtr folds their program and puts a field hockey field in it place

Them in the first Ground out to pitcher, one away Throwing error on pitcher (ball was kicked out of Adley's glove), one on HBP, two on Fly out to center, two away Home run, 3-0 them Fly out to center 3-0 them after 1 Did anyone else think that Casey should have argued the runner was not in his lane on that error in the first? Dude ran down the line and was clearly inside the foul line the entire way. Rutsch had to reach into him to take the throw. Maybe it's only an out if the ball hits the runner? I thought it was at least worth a conversation. I know there are some umps out there who can tell me if Casey had an argument. SaveSave

SaveSavePC could have had any argument, the problem is that the rule is pure "judgment" of the umpire unless runner interferes with the 1B fielding the throw or while being out of the lane (both feet in... lines are part of) is hit by thrown ball. The runner can leave the lane to reach the base since it's in fair territory/out of the lane. So there is a lot going on... and really mostly a judgment call.

SaveSaveIt would have been a hard argument, since the ball did get to Adley's glove first. It wasn't as if the runner got hit on the throw itself.

The HBP on Yovan in the fourth, he could have made an effort to avoid getting it. Especially when its a curve ball in the upper 70s. He just wants to play catcher - that ball came in so soft it just sorta stuck - but why Yovan would put stickum all over his jersey, I'll never understand.
