Man... 11 more LOB so far... I remember a multi-page thread last year about how unimportant of stat as it meant you were getting guys on base! If ya get 'em on you should be getting more home! We'd be fretting less if NOT a tie game with a true frosh pitcher on the hill with 50 base runners allowed, 4 HRs, 5.46 ERA in 28 IP... Ok... now 51 base runners allowed... now 52... Not sure how Abel is the option in a close Pac12 game?  |

7-5 ASU infield single.. Going to B7. ASU scored 3 runs that inning. Not something a rock solid pitching staff would allow in a late inning (11 hits and 3 walks thru 7 = a WHIP of 2.00. No Omaha there.)

Abel getting torched. T8 lead off hitter w clean single to right. Faced 6 batters = 3 hits + 1 BB. Chamberlain coming in.
