Don't doubt the talent, effort and desire of the top echelon teams but I wish college sports had more stories like Oregon State and Fresno State baseball. Probably not going to happen but I think it would be good for fandom.

Probably not going to happen but I think it would be good for fandom. Talent, effort, desire and coming through big time in the clutch are enough for me. I've seen UCLA gymnastics compete in Gill numerous times and they are always a classy group - win or lose. But not everyone has to appreciate every sport. For instance, USA won the gold in curling in (apparently) a huge upset but I had zero interest in watching that match either live or replay.

I get what you're saying but my point is that in college sports there isn't much movement of teams at the top. The examples of only a handful of teams winning the title over a 20 year period. I understand that's the way it is but wish it was a bit more unpredictable. That's just me. And of course I'd love to see the beavers be one of the handful of teams 🙂
