Sitting on the first-base side last night, I saw three people wearing green on the third-base side. That was it. 3.
Last year PK, there were more Beaver fans then there were ducks. This is almost certainly Horton's last year. 10 seasons and still no trip to Omaha. Certainly not what kill Kenny and Company promised.
When George hustled up to second base in the ninth inning, I was worried about him. I had to remind him that we didn't have the paddles warmed up yet to shock his heart. He really does waddle, but what else would you expect the duck to do?

Since 2013 his PAC 12 record shows one hell of a pattern (beginning w 2013): 2nd place, 4th, 6th, 8th, 8th...and at present 9th. All in that fancy new, nearly empty stadium.

Considering how tough it is for the average Beaver fan who's not a season ticket holder to get a ticket to the baseball games that aren't Civil War this year (props to all the beaver fans who are making sure their Beaver friends are supplied rather than selling their tickets on StubHub), I'm not surprised that so few quackers backers came up hoping to find a ticket for sale.
This isn't like football where they buy OSU season tickets just so they can go to the Civil War but then again since there dear trips to BCS Bowls have disappeared they're not really doing that as much anymore either.
But when they can't even buy the scant allocation that is given each visiting School, and they're only 40 minutes away, or should I say an hour and 40 minutes away given that most of their fans are Portlandians, well that's pretty sad.

Last year he supposedly chewed his players out, saying their poor performance was going to cost him his job. What a class act. Just the kind if coach you'd want to play for.

Just the kind if coach you'd want to play for. as Iβve observed before, if youβre a shy sort of HS Senior with D1 baseball skills, but hate crowds...and donβt mind playing for a coach that has done nothing but take a program backwards for the past 5 years, Ducks Baseball and PK Park just might be a perfect fit.
