I watched the new movie with Pacino as Paterno, last night. Sick, twisted, evil sun-of-a-demon is what that POS Sanduskey was/is. My God. What angered me, almost as much, was the cowardice and cover ups (cover their own asses), perpetrated by the leadership at PSU, and the (head in the sand), myopic (football) reaction or inaction by JoPa. This s%#t went on for ahelluva long time. YEARS. Men (I use that term loosely) FAILED to protect innocent children out of FEAR of losing their own position. The things some of them witnessed without beating the POS senseless, and protecting ALL the abused kids makes be believe they ought to share a cell with the friggin' monster. They were criminally negligent and ENABLED the abuse to continue. Jesus, what is wrong with these cowards? Anyway.... a well acted study on evil, cowardice, twisted priorities, and the rabid worship of a football coach. A coach.

That's funny - other night I was on the fence between watching Paterno or the new Andre the Giant doc on HBO. I chose Andre, thinking the Paterno movie would make me angry. Wise move I think. The AtG doc was pretty fascinating.

My buddy told me to watch it, said it was good. I told him I've seen that it was on but that I can't watch it because of the pervert scenes, guessing there are some.

No pervert scenes. Thank God, and the writer, director, and producer. Great cast. The dude who portrays Sandusky is sufficiently slimy. I had forgotten how soon after everything was made public that Paterno died. Disturbing, disgusting story.
