Ben Holmes - Jupiter (Marlins). I think this is year 4 in Jupiter. Yikes

Caleb Hamilton - Ft. Myers (Twins)
Max Englebrekt - Hagerstown (Nationals)
Christian Donahue - South Bend (Cubs)
Travis Eckert - Royals Org. - currently serving 50 game drug suspension. Dang.

Danny was released by Chicago. Wong is playing independent ball, can't remember which league. Caleb Hamilton has been moved to catcher.

Joey Wong has signed a contract to play for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. The Blue Crabs open the season in a couple of weeks against the Long Island Ducks. |

Add Daniel Robertson playing 2b at Reno (Diamondbacks) - OPS is 885 after four games. Thanks! Figured I forgot a few. Always fascinated by guys like him. Still chasing it after 10+ years. Eugene, Fort Wayne, Lake Elsinore, San Antonio, Tucson, El Paso, Round Rock, Rangers, Angels, Salt Lake, Tacoma, Seattle, Columbus, Cleveland, Reno. And all parts in between! Cole Gillespie actually shows up now as a member of the NW league Tri City Dust Devils in MiLB - odd - listed an OF, but wonder if he's transitioning into coaching. Cole was on El Paso's roster during camp. I suspect he's being stashed on the Tri-Cities roster until a spot opens up at AAA or AAA. I'm not seeing Benny's name on Jupiter's roster, or on any Miami affiliate. Maybe he's done.

Stefen Romero is playing his second season with the Orix Buffaloes. He finished second on the team in home runs last year. Is there anyone else in Japan?

Add Daniel Robertson playing 2b at Reno (Diamondbacks) - OPS is 885 after four games. MiLB has him listed as a 2B, but he hasn't played 2B this season, and only played 6 innings of 2B in 2017. I think the 2B experiment for Robertson, which mostly happened in 2016, is over. |
