What recent information is there concerning Nick Madrigal's status.
The original prognosis was possibly back for the Cal series. Two more weekend series have come and gone with no Madrigal (and no information?).
I am hoping this is not one of the infamous OSU athlete injuries that goes on and on and on.

Lots of information out there on gazette times and other places recently. Arizona game 1 is exactly 6 weeks and sounds very likely he'll be back for Arizona...a chance might see him tonight or tomorrow too.

Parker hinted this weekend that Nick won't be ready for Arizona or the following weekend. he is thinking Nick will go against the ducks. I had heard thru the rumor mill that Nick would play this weekend in Tucson. that would be 6 weeks from the injury.

Looks like I was wrong, beavaristotle looks right, boo! portlandtribune.com/pt/12-sports/391238-283103-madrigals-return-likely-still-a-couple-of-weeks-awayInitial media reports that it would be a four-to-six-week recovery period were wrong. The doctor actually estimated six to eight weeks. "There was some confusion about that," Madrigal said Monday before fourth-ranked Oregon State's game against Nevada at Goss Stadium. "Six weeks was the aggressive approach. Seven to eight weeks is the norm to be fully healthy. That's where we're at right now." A return after six weeks would mean Madrigal would play in a three-game series at Missouri State on April 13 and 14. Seven weeks would be a Civil War series against Oregon at home from April 19-21. Eight weeks is a game against the University of Portland at Hillsboro Stadium on April 24.
