if they did , this is exactly what it would look like. too many good aggressive swings even on quality pitches. AAA stadium more likely to have the technology to do so.

I had same thought..... although I’m sure Casey/Yeskie changed signs up..... Pitching was definitely weak. Even Parker was talking up we can’t miss any bats.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, was leaving the ball up today. Big helpings of Belt high is never going to get you anywhere against even a mediocre hitter, and boy is hitting contagious.

Look, last season was a once in a generation run. We all knew, or should have, that this team wasn't going to be as good, especially with Thompson gone and Madrigal on the mend. So we get Nick back and let Yeskie kick some asses. Maybe some guys [Tweedt, Fehmel] sit down for Chamberlain and Abel. In the long run, it'll be better for the team.

Let me make sure I'm following this hypothetical conspiracy theory:
We know Utah was stealing signs last season. We have one of the best, if not THE best coaching staff in the nation. Despite those first two facts, we allowed them to continue to steal our signs?
Or maybe.... Utah is a tough park to pitch in with the altitude. Our pitchers have trouble locating offspeed pitches. Consider this: Utah has twice as any wins at home than they do on the road, despite playing half as many games.
Stop with the "we only lose when someone cheats or the ump has an axe to grind" nonsense. Drives me nuts. The best winning percentage in the major leagues in the last sixty years is .716. Good baseball teams lose games every now and then. That 56-6 record we put up last year included more than a handful of miraculous comebacks and completely unlikely finishes...things that unfortunately went against us in Omaha. We lost a series on the road.....stuff happens.

The problem was we did not have Our Pitches. Playing T-Ball at this level is not going to work very often

The problem was we did not have Our Pitches. Playing T-Ball at this level is not going to work very often Utah May “suck” as some say but they are PAC 12 athletes with the talent and competitiveness that comes along with be that. They can hit mistake pitches. Oregon State threw way too many mistake pitches. Have to get better in that regard.

You can't expect to win every game and every series, every weekend. We had a down weekend. Just leave it at that. Maybe that is what we needed right before Nick comes back. Sometimes you just need to get whooped by the bottom dweller to get that "It Factor" back.

Dave from Tumwater also thought Spencer Petras specifically flipped his commitment to Iowa to avoid being coached by Mike Riley, so......
