Looks like through 9 games she's averaging 36.78 points per game. It appears that we can probably put just 2 players, her and Destiny, on the floor and beat any team in the country 2-on-5. Although I do question the quality of her competition when she can put up 50 points in a single game and then 56 points in the next. Now I'm REALLY curious to see what she looks like against college competition. It's evident that she's having fun, but I hope she doesn't wear herself out doing it.

If Jasmine can effectively attack the basket, score and dish she will be a great addition to a team that has a shortage of these skills.... I have not seen her in person so comparisons are a bit foolish - but from early reports it sounds like Simmons could be a bigger, longer, faster version of Taylor Kalmer... If true, she is an impressive prospect...
GO BEAVS !!

Not a typical incoming frosh.... Somewhat OT, but after reading about Jazz Simmons and 3x3 ball becoming an Olympic sport, I clicked on a sidebar article about a Baylor Aussie player who got drafted in the WNBA this year. Here is what the article had to say about Baylor's recent tourney experiences: "The Lady Bears managed to win the Big 12 Tournament but fell to recent nemesis Oregon State in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament–the same side that had defeated them in 2017’s Elite Eight." I have to remind myself every time I wonder what might have been with the 80-81 MBB team where K-State was our nemesis that there are folks out there in Waco and Raleigh playing the same "what might have been?" game with OSU as their nemesis in BB or WBB. Then I feel better :-). Go Beavers!

Led her team in points but no threes? Sounds like a driver.

I watched almost all of her National Teams games in the 2016 World tourney they won. I don't remember her shooting many if any three's in those games either. Those games can be found on Youtube for those that have time and are interested.

Anybody heard any updates on when her, AA, and PM will be in town? The BEST Summer Bridge program for Oregon State will likely start on Monday, June 25 this year for the first session for incoming athletes. The OSU website link accessible below currently lists 2016 dates for the program with a first session starting date of June 24. Look for the three incoming recruits to arrive in Corvallis a few days prior to that date and almost certainly during the latter half of June. studentathlete.oregonstate.edu/best-bridge-program
