Can anyone recall a time when our conference represented this well? The weekend that Stanford comes to Goss will be epic. I wonder how many radar guns will be behind the plate on Friday night. The place should be crawling with scouts.

Seems to me that OSU and ASU were both highly rated at one time......maybe in 2006 or thereabouts. Been a long time no doubt.

The place should be crawling with scouts. Except this year those "guns" will mainly focused Furd's way! Which IMHO will determine the series. It's early, but vs a very mediocre schedule the staff (minus Luke) has been very disappointing/behind the typical development of our pitching staffs. I agree the top of the Pac12 seems strong, but 6-11 not so much. I wasnt impressed with Cal or UW on any level as complete teams that are any type of postb season threat. Expecting worse in SLC this week.

Arizona State and Oregon State were top five teams at the same time in 2007, but I do not remember two top three teams in that time period. Oregon State and Arizona State finished 1-2 in the Pac-10 in 2006, but the Devils were never rated that highly. Arizona State won the Pac-10 championship from 2007-2010, but Oregon State was never really rated that highly after 2007.
