Ain't gonna be no Final Four for us. Louisville is ranked a #1 seed in the nation for good reason. They destroyed Stanford. They have lost just two games all year, to UCONN and Florida State. Except for that, they've dominated every team they've played including Notre Dame by 33! They are beating their opponents by over 20 points per game and out rebounding by nearly 8 per game. With all their McDonald All-Americans on their team we would have to match our delicate freshman flower Taya against one of them, where she might be seriously injured or at least psychologically damaged in a fruitless attempt to stop their offensive assaults. No, SR would have to be a high order genius to pull this one off. Plan on having a relaxed free weekend next week.

Ban yourself. It is why you play the game. It always starts 0-0.

I sincerely hope you are wrong, but none of us should be getting our hopes up because then the psychological toll is too great after our inevitable loss. Louisville is a powerhouse that seems designed to test our greatest weaknesses. Their quickness and speed and indomitable wills are no match for the delicate flower that is Taya, or Kat, or Mikayla. It is best, as you suggest, that we have a relaxing morning and look forward to living through the next week without any sense of impending doom. I DO think you may have plagiarized (if only unintentionally) someone else's careful thinking on another of our opponents, and that may lead others to think less of you. Just a word to the wise, as I have some experience with this. I am thickhead, and I have spoken.

You gave us no hope against Baylor and if those words worked once maybe they will work again for the Louisville game. Sorry if you got your little panties in a knot.

Ok, for serious. Louisville can't get no respect. The all ACC all conference team's have 4 Notre Dame players and only two from L'ville. No L'ville's on the defensive team. This is all to the Beav's disadvantage. They will not think Sam is going to be able to take on Marie by herself, so they will help out big time in the center. This is where the Beav's get into trouble, as it will be all up to the guards to provide points. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Maybe the team will be able to shut down both Durr and H-A, but it seems improbable and so it will come down to the guards keeping the Beav's in the game so that their crunch time abilities will be able to win the game.
AAAARRRRGGHHH, thanks Jeff, that's really what I wanted in my minds eye.
