It's only egregious to Pac-12 fans - where are the people that hire and are supposed to oversee the Commish - our Uni Presidents?

At $4 million per year, I would think we could do better.

Yeah this March Madness was pretty embarrassing for us, but of all the things to blame Scott for, the talent and competitiveness of the teams is pretty low on the totem pole, IMHO...
Of course I would have fired him 5 and half years ago when he failed to deliver a DirectTV agreement within six months of the Pac-12 Network launching... (Oh, opps, still waiting on the DTV deal...)

He's making more yearly than the universities he oversees make off the conference's television deal." Hahaha, wow, you can't make this stuff up... Scott makes MORE than the universities, smh... |

Listened to Rome today (I can't remember the last time I did...just "surfing.") Dennis Dodd was a guest (I don't CARE for the guy, but he made some points) and talked about what an unmitigated DISASTER the PAC 12 TV deal was/is, and how we are headed to "non-power-5 conference" status. LOWEST revenue of all the Power 5s. The perception is there is a lack of support for the conference in it's entirety whilst OVER-COMMITTING resources, media, etc., to a chosen few. A guaran-damn-tee you the Beavs aren't "chosen." The chump at the helm needs to go.

The fact our network is a joke is a cemetery of dead beatup horses. Definitely. One thing i notice... say this weekend. PAC televised asu and wsu all weekend. Across the spectrum. In meantime.... on ESPN universe.... you could watch 6-8 sec teams play in their series..... LSU, FLA, Vandy, MSU, UT, Auburn, Missouri,..... pac Net is a high school production...... and this all filters down...... Every sec school is renovating baseball facilities.... or has/currently building new facilities. Softball. Same. In Big12 Okie St building new Baseball palace. In Big10(?)..... even Northwestern is building an athletic Taj Mahal. I’d put our baseball park up to anyone’s..... given our demo. And we continue to improve it..... but globally..... in pac..... we are definitely getting beat like a drum. scott definitely needs to go..... his leadership borders on fraudulence.... |
